No :). I know on the Sam Houston Tollway if you go through without an EZTAG you can call them within a few days and pay over the phone. Especially if you already have an ez-tag on another car. When you're planning to use a toll road, parking garage or other facility, we encourage you to check with the entity to confirm they will accept EZ TAG. In order for your EZ TAG to be accepted as a payment option, your EZ TAG Account must be mounted on your vehicle at the time of the transaction and your account must be in good financial standing. Essentially, when there is a conflict between an app user and a tag that is already registered with a rental agency, sometimes the software system will bill the app and sometimes it will bill the rental agency. An EZ TAG Express account lets you use the designated EZ TAG lanes on Houston-area toll roads, and throughout the state of Texas. Just do the right thing and turn yourself in you menace!! The spot where we were at looked like the frontage road kept going but it didn't so we just went with it :). There's no fine if you pay it within 48 hours. After speaking with both a representative and a team lead from the HCTRA, the only conclusion that could be drawn is that the software used by the HCTRA is poorly written. Vehicle expiration date is set by the customer. Now if 99 isn't under the toll road authority then they may have different rules, so look it up and call them. For an app claiming to make things easier, it sure makes things difficult. EZ TAG also works on toll roads in Kansas and Oklahoma. It's more trouble for them to get 25 cents from you than it is to just clear it from the system. An EZ TAG is a small adhesive device that adheres to the inside of the windshield.
