After it's believed that their main threat, the Deviants, are all defeated, Ikaris and Sersi eventually separate and don't see each other for a very long time. Passion and love are shown on an intimate scale, rather than a more raw and unflinching look, which can commonly be found in any variety of adult streaming shows, such as Euphoria or Insecure.
